The Pipeline Review

The forecast is not a number you defend once a quarter. It is a rhythm you run every week, and most teams run it wrong: an hour of reading the CRM out loud and calling it a review. This is the version that takes forty five minutes and ends with the deals moving.

── THE REP REVIEW (45 MINUTES)
  1. Snapshot, five minutes. Pipeline coverage against 3x, this month's forecast, deals closing this month. Then the red flags: overdue deals, pushed deals, no activity in fourteen days, close date in the past. Green, yellow, red on each.
  2. Deal review, thirty minutes. Walk the problem deals and the commit deals. Score every commit deal on PLAN: is the problem identified and quantified, is it a top-three priority, is the decision committee mapped, are the next steps mutual and dated. Set each to red, yellow, or green. A commit deal that is not green is not a commit.
  3. Coverage, inside that. Month by month, target versus current pipeline versus the gap. A gap you can see in week one is a gap you can still fill.
  4. Commitments, ten minutes. Five specific actions with owners and due dates, and the support the rep needs from the manager, on which deal, by when.
── THE LEADER ROLL-UP

Same review, one level up. Coverage and forecast accuracy per rep, the at-risk dollars and where they concentrate, the reps carrying single-threaded commit deals, and the pipeline gaps by month across the team. You are not re-reviewing every deal. You are finding where the number is exposed and who needs help this week.

── HOW IT RUNS WITH AI

Export the pipeline, or connect the CRM. The skill computes coverage, flags every red-flag deal automatically (overdue, pushed, stale, past close date), scores each commit deal RYG against PLAN, and drafts this week's five actions. In leader mode it rolls the same read up across reps and surfaces the concentration of risk. It does the pull and the math. You run the conversation and make the calls.

── STEAL IT

This week, pull your commit deals and mark each one green, yellow, or red on the four PLAN questions. Everything not green is a coaching conversation, not a forecast.
